Offshore Fishing – Premium saltwater charters

Offshore fishing provides anglers with some of the finest fishing in the Clayoquot Sound region. Enjoy fantastic views and plenty of wildlife while targeting salmon, halibut, lingcod and rockfish. Our premier vessel has backrest seating for up to five people, as well as a covered cabin and private flush toilet for your comfort. Inflatable life vests and rain gear are available. We offer multi-day, full day, and half-day charters. Gourmet lunches can be arranged.

Freshwater Fishing – Unique freshwater experiences

Tofino Fish Guides offers adventurers a new way to experience remote freshwater fishing in the wilderness rivers and lakes of the western slope of Vancouver Island. Enjoy the independence of your own personal kayak or SUP (stand up paddleboard) while under the watchful eye of your experienced guide. If you simply wish to focus on fishing, a drift aboard our river raft is the way to go. Fly-fishing lessons are included if desired. Gourmet lunches can be arranged.

Saltwater Fly-fishing – Fly-fish for salmon and rock fish

There’s no style of fishing quite as exciting as surface fly-fishing. Casting for coho salmon is one of the most rewarding aspects of our local fishery, and can be done depending on marine conditions. Lessons in fly-fishing techniques and casting can be incorporated into the day at no extra charge. Fly-fishing rates reflect our ability to fish inshore as well as offshore – we go where the fish are!

Family fishing tour – Learn/ fish/enjoy

The perfect way to get your family out for a fun-filled day on the water! Our luxury boat is safe, comfortable and stable; it’s great for children, seniors, and everyone in between. Learn to catch a salmon, jig for bottom fish, and pull a crab trap. Prawn fishing is available in season. Enjoy cruising the protected waters near Tofino, wildlife sightings included! Children’s life jackets are available.
