Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada and Vancouver Island's first national park represent the coastal lowland forest of the Pacific Coast Mountain Region and the near shore environment of the West Vancouver Island Shelf Marine Region. Pacific Rim National Park is made up of three geographically distant units: Long Beach, Broken Group Islands and the West Coast Trail.
