Hooksum Outdoor School offers 28-day sessions of West Coast Outdoor Leadership Training (next session May 1 - 28, 2012) and also customized programs for school, university, youth and adult groups. The school's aim is to provide quality outdoor and environmental education through traditional indigenous knowledge, modern skills and intimate connection to the natural world. Based in Hesquiaht traditional territories, Hooksum Outdoor School is owned and operated by Steve and Karen Charleson of the Hesquiaht First Nation.
