Experience Clayoquot Sound with me, Dennis Kay, a fully licensed, enthusiastic and seasoned skipper aboard my 8 metre (26') lifeboat, the 'KLECO'. The boat is designed to carry 20 passengers, but we only take a maximum of 12 guests. The more relaxed pace with informative narration of the natural world including First Nations history allows for a more intimate encounter with nature.

I have a passion for sharing Clayoquot Sound and offer a number of value priced family oriented options. One of these more popular tours is the Meares Island Big Tree Trail. This 2-2.5 hr. tour takes you to a 1 km (2/3 mile) 'Hobbit like' boardwalk with giant ancient Cedars and an enormous eagles nest; this tour includes a mini harbour tour of approx. 1 hr. Another popular tour is the 1.5 hr. Sunset Tour to Lennard Isle which departs 1 hr. before sunset. Or, if you wish, we can do a 1.5 hr. harbour tour.

I also offer a number of other options like island camping and drop-offs, beachcombing/picnicking, hiking (including Lone Cone Mtn. on Meares Island), and wilderness cruises.
